N-600 Form 2013

USCIS has implemented the revised Form N-600 and people who need to obtain US citizenship certificates will have to file the revised form bearing the edition date 04/08/2013 and the previous editions of the form may not be accepted and this new form has replaced the previous edition of Form N-600. Form N-600 is meant for individuals who are eligible to document their US citizenship status and for people who acquire or derive citizenship from their parents. Such individuals can file Form N-600, Application for Certificate of Citizenship and get US citizenship certificates.

USCIS is now publishing immigration and naturalization forms in fillable Adobe format and the new Adobe fillable electronic form will restrict incorrect entries after you electronically complete your form. Likewise, the new format of the form provides pop-up boxes with additional information and also provides step by step instructions and these instructions will enable the customers to easily complete their forms. USCIS has published the new form with new data collection technologies and the new format of the form is easier to use. The new form also comes with comprehensive instructions in simple English. The agency has launched a web page, “USCIS Form Improvements Initiative” and this web page contains detailed information about the new forms that it has already published and about the upcoming forms.

USCIS has published Form N-600 with 2D barcode technology and the barcode will store the information that you enter and the USCIS will scan the information from the barcode. See to that you do not damage the barcode while completing or mailing the form. Apart from Form N-600, USCIS has also published a few other forms with new data collection technologies.
