When will registrations for the 2018 Diversity Lottery begin?
Registrations for the DV-2018 Program, also known as 2018 Green Card lottery, will open at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), Tuesday, October 4, 2016 and close on November 7, 2016 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-4). During this period, eligible foreign nationals can file applications with the U.S. Department of State to enter the lottery program, one of the easiest ways to get a Green Card.
Applicants will need to file just one entry during the registration period as multiple entries will be detected by the U.S. Department of State and they will be disqualified. Likewise, it is wise to submit the DV 2018 application as soon as possible as heavy demands during the last week of the registration period may result in delays.
