Americans observe the US Constitution and Citizenship day on the 17th of September, every year. This day is celebrated in order to recognize people who had become US citizens and to commemorate the signing of the US Constitution. The US Congress determined September 17th as the Constitution Day and the whole week beginning from September 17th to September 23rd, is celebrated as the Constitution and Citizenship week.
The responsibility of the Federal, Local and State officials is to conduct programs to celebrate the Constitution, in order to reflect on the US citizenship rights, on this day. The communities, states, schools, etc, organize programs to commemorate the Constitution week. Images of the US citizens, the US flag and the colors of the US flag will be used as promotional materials for the Constitution and Citizenship Day.

Along with that, USCIS also offers various resources to help out the people who seek to obtain US citizenship through naturalization.

People who wish to become US citizens must be well aware of the rights and responsibilities of American citizenship and it is mandatory to know about the Constitution and Citizenship week, because various questions related to this week will be found on the civics part of the naturalization test.
