Immigration Fact of the Week (January 9 – 15)

How can you tell if you are a conditional resident? How can you tell if you are a conditional resident?

You can make out whether you are a conditional permanent resident or a legal permanent resident through your permanent resident card, which is well known as a green card. If you are a conditional resident, your green card will be valid only for two years. Whereas, if you are a permanent resident, the green card you hold will be valid for a ten year period.

Likewise, you can find your class of admission printed on the front side of your green card. If you are a conditional resident, your class of admission will start with CR.
